All East Suffolk Line trains stop at Ipswich, and many continue on to London Liverpool Street. Ipswich is a major interchange for other destinations. The station houses a buffet, restaurant, tea shop, book shop, restaurant, and ATM; it is located just 10 minutes walk from the town centre and the Portman Road football ground. Buses frequently stop at the station forecourt. Some rail tickets, including Anglia Plus, include a bus pass to and from the town centre.
