Group Ticket Expanded To East Suffolk Line

Rail operator National
Express East Anglia has expanded the area where its group ticket scheme can be used. GroupSave,
which allows up to three or four people to travel for the price of
two adult tickets, is now accepted across the entire National Express East
Anglia network, including the East Suffolk Line. Previously it had
only be available in Cambridge, Hertfordshire, Essex and London.
There are several combinations of three and four
that qualify for GroupSave, just as long as there is one adult in the
group. In addition, when four travel for the price of two adults,
GroupSave allows up to four additional children to travel for only £1
each.
GroupSave tickets are
also sold by many other train companies, as a result, through tickets are
available for destinations outside the National Express East
Anglia area. This applies as long as you travel on services operated by a train company
accepting GroupSave.
GroupSave tickets apply
to Savers, Cheap Day Singles, Cheap Day Returns, and some Off-Peak Day
Travelcards. There are some restrictions, so it is best to contact 'one'
to make sure before you travel. There is no need to book ahead, just
show up and go.
