East Suffolk Line Cafe Ranked Second in Britain

The Whistlestop Cafe at Woodbridge Rail station has made the Top Ten List of railway cafes by a Guardian Newspaper columnist. Travel writer Dixe Wills named the cafe second best in the country, coming in just after a restaurant at the rail station on the Kyle of Lochalsh. Wills said the food at the Whistlestop Cafe was so good it even attracted customers who were not rail passengers.

Two other station cafes in East Anglia made the shortlist; the Station Buffet at Manningtree came in at number five, and the Brief Encounter Cafe at Wymondham Station was ranked sixth.
