'one' To Become "National Express East Anglia"

After trading as 'one' for
more than three years, the company that owns the region's main train
operator has decided to rebrand. Early next year 'one' will be
known as "National Express East Anglia" reflecting the name of
the corporation that has been running trains services in
the area since April 2004.
'one' signified the combining
of four previous rail operators (Anglia, Great Eastern, West Anglia, and
Stansted Express) into one rail company for the whole of East Anglia.
Its slogan at the time was "All Four 'one'."
The National
Express name is closely associated with its bus division. The rail
division will draw on the corporate image, logo, and reputation
in the rebranding. The company had previously excluded its corporate
name from all its rail operations, running trains companies 'one', Central
Trains, and Midland Mainline among others. That changed earlier this
year when it won the franchise to replace train operator GNER; that route
is now known as National Express East Coast.
The National Express
East Anglia logo will begin appearing on trains, sign boards, timetables,
and stations along the East Suffolk Line, and the rest of the
network, from February 2008.
